I have built an independent practice twice. The second time, I knew what I'd been missing.
The first time, I was good at the work but never put my CEO hat on. I treated it like a job, not a business: undercharging, taking whatever came in, and working it all out alone. Many of my clients are in that same place when we meet.
The second time I built with structure, a defined offer and a defined client, and a way of getting visible that I could keep up. Getting from the first version to the second is what I now do with clients, and I've done it with more than 100 entrepreneurs.
I came to this after 15+ years leading global programs in international development and public health, so I know what it is to be senior and experienced in one field and new to running a business in another. My approach is neurodivergent-inclusive: I work with you to structure the business around how your brain works.
