Meet Laura.

👋 Hi, I'm Laura Baringer, ICF Certified (ACC) Business Coach and Strategist.

I help people who have recently left senior corporate, NGO, or academic roles build independent consulting, freelance, and fractional businesses, with clarity, strategy, and support that fits how they actually work.

I spent 15+ years leading global programs in international development and public health, including building an office and launching and scaling a multi-million dollar USAID program in Rwanda. Along the way I advised boards, invested in startups, and consulted with mission-led organizations worldwide.

I've built independent practices twice. The first time, as a strategic planning and organizational development consultant, I was good at the work but never put my CEO hat on. I treated it like a job, not a business. The second time I knew what I was missing, and I built differently.

That experience, both what worked and what didn't, is what I bring to clients. Strategy is always at the core. My approach is neurodivergent-inclusive, grounded in real business fundamentals, and never formulaic. I hold master's degrees in Public Administration and Public Health from Columbia University.

Originally from the U.S., I now live in Utrecht, Netherlands with my husband, two kids, and our dog. I'm passionate about doing work that feels good, and helping others do the same.
