Group Coaching Agreement

 

1. Description of Coaching

Group coaching is a partnership between the Coach and the Participants in a collaborative, thought-provoking process that supports individuals in maximizing their personal and professional potential. Through group dialogue, exercises, and accountability, coaching facilitates goal-setting, exploration, and actionable planning across work, life, and business domains.

 

2. Coach–Participant Relationship

2a. The Coach adheres to the ethics and standards of behavior established by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Participants are encouraged to review the ICF Code of Ethics: www.coachingfederation.org/ethics.

2b. Each Participant is solely responsible for their own decisions, actions, and results. Coaching is not therapy, and it does not prevent, diagnose, or treat mental health or medical conditions.

2c. Coaching may touch on many areas of life. Participants remain responsible for applying insights and making decisions in each area.

2d. Coaching is not a substitute for professional advice such as medical, legal, or financial services. If under care from another professional, Participants should inform them of this coaching engagement.

2e. Participants agree to engage in the process with honesty, openness, and commitment, both for themselves and in support of the group.

2f. Respect and confidentiality are expected within the group. Participants agree not to share personal details, stories, or information from other members outside the group.

 

3. Scheduling, Location, and Duration

3a. All sessions are delivered via Zoom. The Coach is based in the Netherlands (Central European Time) and serves participants globally.

3b. The group program follows a set calendar of sessions (dates provided at registration).

3c. Sessions are not rescheduled for individual absences. Recordings or materials may be provided at the Coach’s discretion.

4. Fees and Refunds

4a. Program fees are due at the time of registration unless a payment plan has been agreed.

4b. Refund Policy:
Participants may cancel their purchase within 24 hours for a refund (minus a 5% processing fee). After that, fees are non-refundable.

4c. Missed Sessions:
Because this is a group program with scheduled sessions, missed sessions are forfeited. 

5. Confidentiality

All coaching conversations are confidential in line with the ICF Code of Ethics. Within the group, Participants agree to respect each other’s privacy and keep all personal information shared in sessions strictly confidential.

Exceptions to confidentiality include:

  • Threats of harm to self or others

  • Disclosure of illegal activity

  • Court orders or subpoenas

  • Information already public or obtained legally elsewhere 

6. Privacy & Data Protection

The Coach complies with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR). Participant information is processed lawfully and securely, only for coaching purposes, and never sold or shared without consent. In the unlikely event of a data breach, affected participants will be notified.

 

7. Release of Information (For ICF Credentialing)

Only your name, contact information, and coaching start/end dates may be shared with ICF for credential verification. No session notes or sensitive data will be shared. Occasionally, themes may be discussed anonymously for the Coach’s professional development or supervision.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

The Coach does not guarantee specific outcomes. The Coach’s liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Participant for services rendered under this Agreement.

 

9. Legal Terms

9a. Entire Agreement: This document reflects the full agreement and supersedes any previous communications. Changes must be made in writing.

9b. Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing legal action.

9c. Severability: If any provision is deemed invalid, the remainder of the Agreement remains in effect.

9d. Waiver: Failure to enforce any term is not a waiver of that term in future situations.

9e. Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

9f. Binding Effect: This Agreement is binding upon the parties and their permitted successors.
